Scientists and astronomers gathered in Tennant Creek, Australia to watch an annular Solar eclipse. The event happens when the moon moves in front of the sun and a thin ring of light can be seen around it.
The next total solar eclipse will be visible from Africa, Southern Europe and Eastern Americas in November 2013.
